The screen panels started lifting up and the room suddenly became bright, unveiling the breathtaking view of NYC. Hold your emotions and your breath because at the end, there is a surprise. I would've complained about it since I always skip IMAX or 4D shows, but this one was worth watching. Afterwards, we were forced to watch a short film. It showed the history of New York City from when it was just a swamp at the ground floor, and as you go up, the timeline advances, so settling New York, to a city, to the skyscrapers, to the modern-day NYC at the top level. The elevator show was the best out of the 5 decks. They have 5 elevators, which was more than the rest except for Rockefeller (if I remember correctly). ![]() They don't have the modern ones like the Edge and S1V. I almost lost my hotel keycard as a result. So you'll have to remove your pocket contents and jacket. There was an airport-style security similar to Rockefeller and ESB. We were then redirected down the escalator to the actual entrance. I had to ask staff as I pre-bought a ticket. Upon entering the building, there was huge lineup at the ticket windows. We went up on a cloudy day at opening time. ![]()
